I. What is a cookie?

A cookie is a text file that may be placed on a user's device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when visiting a website or application. It is stored by the browser and allows the site to recognize the device during subsequent visits.

Cookies are primarily used to:

– to ensure the proper technical functioning of the Platform;

– to secure user sessions and prevent fraudulent access;

– to store browsing preferences;

– to analyze traffic and improve the user experience.

– by third-party partners (audience analysis, security, or communication tools), subject to the user's prior consent when required by regulations.

III. Categories of cookies used

3.1 Strictly necessary cookies

These cookies are essential for the Platform to function. Without them, certain essential services cannot be provided. They do not require prior consent.

They notably allow for:

Retention period: generally limited to the duration of the session or up to a maximum of 13 months.

Their placement is subject to the user's prior consent, in accordance with CNIL recommendations.

Retention period: 13 months maximum from the date of deposit, in accordance with CNIL recommendations.

IV. Consent management

Upon their first visit to the Platform, the user is informed about the use of cookies via a dedicated consent banner. This banner allows the user to:

– accept all cookies;

– refuse non-essential cookies;

– set preferences category by category.

Consent is obtained before any non-strictly necessary cookies are placed. You may change your choices at any time via the cookie management module available on the Platform, without affecting the lawfulness of any prior processing.

It is not possible to refuse strictly necessary cookies without affecting the proper functioning of the Platform. Refusing other cookies will not affect access to essential services.
